TREATMENT STYLES & SERVICES

SOMATIC EXPERIENCING® BODY WORK & CO-REGULATING TOUCH
SE™ focuses on the role of the autonomic nervous system (ANS) in movement patterns and perception of sensation. Rather than telling our bodies what to do and forcing change, this work honors the body’s wisdom—helping you explore the deeper roots of physical symptoms through subtle hands-on techniques and intuitive movement.

FUNCTIONAL DRY NEEDLING
Functional Dry Needling (FDN) is a hands-on technique used by trained physical therapists to support neuromuscular re-education and optimal movement. By inserting a very thin needle into specific muscles or regions, FDN helps reset dysfunctional communication between the nervous system and the muscles—improving coordination, mobility, and control.

TRADITIONAL ORTHOPEDIC & PELVIC FLOOR THERAPY
With advanced training in both orthopedic and pelvic floor therapy, Rachael takes a whole-body approach—recognizing how different areas influence one another. Treatment combines hands-on manual therapy with movement-based strategies like strengthening, stretching, breathing, postural re-education, and pain neuroscience education.

LABOR & DELIVERY PREP/POSTPARTUM HEALING
As a Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Corrective Specialist (PCES), Rachael supports individuals through safe and effective movement during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

TESTIMONIAL

Rachael is an all around incredible pelvic floor physical therapist and somatic practitioner! I worked with her both as a colleague and as her patient. I would send my most complex patients to work with her knowing that they were in the best hands and I personally sought her out for treatment during my most recent pregnancy. Her approach to caring for patients is trauma informed, person centered, patient, kind, approachable and effective. She has done so much work as a somatic practitioner and brings this into her visits flawlessly in step with patient's physical therapy goals. She is so aware of each person's whole being and is deeply passionate about the well being of the entire person she is working with. I cannot recommend Rachael enough!”

In 2019 my doctor was going to refer me to a surgeon for my tennis elbow. It was extremely painful. I asked about physical therapy and was referred to Rachael. I assumed I’d do PT for a while before surgery. That did not happen! Rachael was able to get my elbow back to normal, with no pain and no surgery! I continued seeing Rachael for other physical therapy. At times my past trauma got triggered during the physical work. Rachael was excellent in helping me work through this aspect. She’s very intuitive about the emotional responses that body work elicits, and she is so kind. No one better in my opinion. You won’t regret going to see her!!
